Rebecca completed her TAFE NSW course in 2020, gaining certification as a Polymer Technician which has helped her transition from a 15-year career in government administration. Rebecca went on to start a successful non-profit social enterprise business.

When Rebecca Healy founded Boxhead Plastics, an injection-mould company remanufacturing products from Australia’s growing pile of automotive plastic waste, little did she know she would be helping thousands of everyday golfers hit it long and straight.

It was back in 2015 that Healy first started tinkering around with plastics in her two bedroom flat in Redfern. This lead to her attending TAFE in 2018 to study polymer technology and it was there that she learnt how to manufacture with plastics.
