Boxhead Plastics is a non-profit organisation run by 16 volunteers who aim to recycle scrap plastic left over from the automotive industry. Our volunteers care deeply for the environment and strive for a future free of plastic waste.
Here at Boxhead Plastics, we remanufacture products from recycled plastic car bumper bars. Our volunteers have collected and recycled over 20 tonnes of plastic, working together to recycle this back into environmental-friendly products, such as golf tees and coasters. Boxhead Plastics works with the Australian automotive industry to sustainably manage its plastic waste, keeping it out of landfill.
Have you ever thought about volunteering before? Maybe you were given the opportunity to volunteer in the past. When you volunteer, you’re signing up to willingly contribute towards something great. But what if you’ve never volunteered before?
